Firstly I just want to say this hotel doesn’t get enough recognition. We stayed here for a few nights for my husband’s 50th birthday and we had taken our dog with us. The service was amazing Richard and Karen made us both feel welcome right from the start of our wee break. The hotel room we had was clean all the facilities we needed hot shower, little toiletries in the bathroom which is great if you haven’t already brought your own there was a kettle tea and coffee which was topped up along with hairdryer etc which was great as I forgot mine. The bed we had was massive and we had a great nights sleep. The hotel is very cozy the bar area has a cozy warm fire lovely decor and we could take the dog in with us which was great we also met some other couples who also rated the hotel for it’s hospitality and service. The hotel is very close to the little town you can walk in no problem with great little keepsake shops, outdoor shops, restaurants , bars etc. The Old Mill Inn was great for food we also went to the fish and chip shop for food another night which was great the home made steak pie and chips was to die for. Breakfast at the Acarsaid hotel was absolutely fantastic we had the full Scottish breakfast with coffee toast and there was a variety of juices and continental breakfast it was actually one of the best breakfast we have ever had. We did the Pitlochry dam walk which was gorgeous and there are other walks you can do from there as well if you wish views were just stunning. We had to book an impromptu stay because my son caught a stomach bug on a tour to the highlands. Big Karen was amazingly helpful and kind through it all. She let us check in early, gave directions to different places in town, and provided us with tons of extra linens. The rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend the Acarsaid to anyone staying in Pitlochry.

Good size double room, excellent breakfast choice, quality and service. Very pleased to have the biscuits in our room replaced each day, odd though toiletries were not refreshed. Generally very clean but bathroom needs a little attention, with the ceiling needing mould removed and repainted. Pleased to have a seating/lounge area but it would be better with a sofa-bed, rather than a covered up single bed. Odd also, not to be able to open both bedroom windows, why is 1 marked 'do not open'? If broken, please fix it.
Just returned after a one night stay. Amazing. The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great and loads of choices. The highlight for us all was Karen, the Manager. She had us in stitches throughout. What an amazing lady. Would return there in a heartbeat.

My mother and I stayed in that B&B as our first step for our roadtrip to the Highlands and is was a great to spend our first scottish night there. There is a large parking, we were warmly welcomed and were offered help to bring the luggage up to the room. The room was really nice, simple but with everything you need (powerful hairdryer, shampoo, etc. Even some coffee, tea and biscuits) The breakfast is really amazing, it's like a restaurant. When we arrived, our table with the vegan/veggie menu was prepared. You can start with the small buffet (fruits, cereals etc) while they prepare the warm breakfast you choose from the menu. I had the Full Scottish breakfast in veggie version. My mother had the scrambled eggs. They were really nice people. There are two warm living rooms. Everything is super clean and it smells amazing when you enter the B&B. I recommend it. If you book from theit website, you'll have a discount.
Amazing stay ! Hotel is older style but clean comfortable and well worth a stay, big Karen is 10 star honestly made our stay so enjoyable Our room was clean and comfortable we had a good quiet sleep bed was massive and the best towels ever Breakfast was delicious & plenty of it, the two lovely young ladies helping with breakfast ( sorry never got their names) were very polite and helpful, location is a quick 10 minutes walk to the town where u can grab anything from an ice cream to a scarf Can’t wait to go back see you soon big Karen, xxxx
